Mount Greylock Boys Tennis Reaches Western Mass Semis

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Gray Kaegi earned a hard-fought win at No. 1 singles Thursday to complete a 5-0 sweep for the Mount Greylock boys tennis team against Lenox in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 quarter-finals.
 
Kaegi defeated Henrik Palmer, 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 (super tiebreak).
 
The Mounties also got singles wins from Jacob Fink and Josh Narey at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.
 
Mount Greylock’s doubles tandems of Matt Wiseman/Brady Foehl and Sam Dils/Toby Foehl dropped one game between them in a pair of straight-set wins.
 
Second-seeded Mount Greylock (11-1) awaits the winner of Saturday’s quarter-final between No. 3 Greenfield (11-5) and No. 6 Turners Falls (9-9).
