Pittsfield Boys, Girls Win at Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Joey Kearns and Liam Probine Friday each won a pair of events to lead the Pittsfield boys swimming team to a 61-32 win over Taconic at the Berkshire Family YMCA.

 

Kearns won the 200-meter freestyle and 500 free. Probine touched first in the 50 free and 100 free.

 

Hunter Gangell earned points for Taconic with a win in the 100 butterfly.

 

In the girls meet, Ari Berard, Leah Maloy and Maggie Vittum each was a double-winner in the Generals’ 86-17 win.

 

Berard won the 200 free and 500 free. Maloy took the 200 individual medley and 100 free. Vittum won the 50 free and 100 backstroke.
