DiGrigoli Leads Lenox Golfers Past Mount Everett

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Max DiGrigoli carded a 38 Tuesday to lead the Lenox golf team to a 161-176 win over Mount Everett on the front nine at Egremont Country Club.
 
DiGrigoli started his day with a birdie on the par-4 first hole -- one of four birdies recorded by the Millionaires in the match.
 
Max Shepardson birdied the par-3 sixth on his way to a 39. Brendan Hayden birdied the par-3 third hole en route to a 41. Lenox’s Cliff Flynn and Devin Patel each carded a 43 to round out the scoring. Ben Hayden did not score but did have a birdie on the third hole on his way to a 46.
 
Mount Everett’s top four golfers each finished with a 44. Colby Stevens, Spencer Broderick, Cooper Rothvoss and Jack Seward-Daley provided the scoring for the Eagles. Seward-Daley’s round was highlighted by a birdie on the par-5 fifth hole.
 
Mount Everett hosts Taconic on Wednesday. Lenox is at Pittsfield on Friday.
