Lenox Boys Reach Round of 16

LENOX, Mass. – The Lenox boys tennis team Friday posted five straight-set wins in a 5-0 victory over Springfield International Charter in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.

 

The Millionaires top two singles players, Aydan Shove and Sawyer Levin, dropped two games between them in cruising to easy wins.

 

The tightest match of the afternoon was at first doubles, where Devon Smits and Aidran Tran were pushed in the first set before prevailing, 7-5, 6-1.

 

Seventh-seeded Lenox (7-8) advances to face No. 5 Sutton on a day to be announced.
