Hoosac Valley Baseball Downs Lee for First 'W' of Year

LEE, Mass. -- Caleb Harrington went 3-for-5 with a double Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 12-7 win over Lee as the Hurricanes won their first game since 2019.
 
T.J. Deblois had a single and a double, and Carson Rylander and Matt Witek doubled in the win.
 
Hoosac Valley (1-10) went winless last spring and, like all other high school baseball teams in the commonwealth, missed the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Harrington started and got the win on the mound. Hoosac Valley held the Wildcats off the board for three innings and scored six times in the third to build a 9-0 lead.
 
Ben Kelly went 3-for-4 and Evan Trombley doubled for Lee.
 
The Wildcats (3-9) host McCann Tech on Monday.
 
Hoosac Valley hosts Mount Everett on Monday.
