McCann Tech Baseball's Season Ends on Road

HADLEY, Mass. – Wyatt Cook went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles Sunday to lead the Hopkins Academy baseball team to a 16-0 win over McCann Tech in the first round of the Division 5 State Tournament.

 

Chace Earle and Harry West combined to strike out 10 and allow just three hits for Hopkins on the mound.

 

Nolan Booth had two of those hits for McCann Tech, which also got a single from Mason Rondeau.

 

McCann Tech finishes the season with a record of 7-12.

 

Third-seeded Hopkins advances to host Lenox in the Round of 16.
