Mount Everett Tops Lee to Stay Unbeaten

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Brady Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs on Monday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to an 8-2 win over Lee.
 
Levi Boardman batted 2-for-3, and JJ Schneider doubled and drove in a run in a six-hit attack for the Eagles, who worked eight walks and took advantage of four Lee errors.
 
Mount Everett used three different pitchers. Trevor Leonard, Darius Taliaferro and Brodie Kinna combined to strike out 16, walk just three and allow one earned run.
 
Gabe Ranzoni went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Wildcats.
 
Lee (2-1) is at Gateway Regional on Wednesday.
 
Mount Everett (7-0) is off until next Monday when it goes to Housatonic Valley Regional.
