Eagles Win to Stay Unbeaten

CANAAN, Conn. – Darius Taliaferro struck out nine and walked one in 4 and two-thirds innings on the mound Monday to lead the Mount Everett baseball team to an 11-1 win over Housatonic Valley Regional.
 
Taliaferro gave up just one unearned run before giving the ball to Cameron Coon, who struck out two in closing out the win.
 
Coon went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Levi Boardman drove in three runs. JJ Schneider doubled and scored a pair of runs.
 
Mount Everett (8-0) goes to McCann Tech on Thursday.
