Ware Baseball Ousts Mount Everett in Class D
SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Logan Millet went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in Wednesday to lead the Ware baseball team to a 7-3 win over Mount Everett in the Western Massachusetts Class D semi-finals.
Brady Carpenter was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs for the Eagles.
Brody Kinna hit a pair of doubles, and Levi Boardman was 2-for-4 at the plate in the loss.
Cameron Coon gave up two earned runs in five innings on the mound. Trevor Leonard and Carpenter split up the final two innings.
Mount Everett (17-2) now turns its attention to the Division 5 State Tournament. The seedings are scheduled to be released on May 27.
