Taconic Baseball Falls Behind Early in Loss on Cape

HARWICH, Mass. -- The Wellesley baseball team Saturday jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the top of the first and rolled to a 13-2 win over Taconic at the Cape Cod Challenge.
 
Jake Harrington doubled and scored a run in the bottom of the fifth of a game that was ended after five innings. Brendan Stannard and Michael Kays each drove in a run.
 
Anton Lazits went 3-⅔ on the mound and took the loss before being relieved by Mitchell DeCelles and Kays.
 
Taconic (2-1) goes to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
