Rabuse, McLaughlin Lead Wahconah into Western Mass Semis

DALTON, Mass. – James Rabuse homered twice, and Sam McLaughlin Monday went the distance on the mound in a complete-game, five-inning win as the Wahconah baseball team advanced past Hampshire, 10-0, in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.

 

Rabuse went 2-for-3 with four RBIs to lead Wahconah’s offense.

 

McLaughlin helped his cause by going 2-for-4 with an RBI.

 

On the mound, McLaughlin struck out six, walked none and scattered four hits.

 

Third-seeded Wahconah (15-4) advances to face Taconic in the regional finals on a day to be announced.
