Wahconah Baseball Team Edges Monument Mountain

DALTON, Mass. -- Joe Woronick went 2-for-4 with two RBIs Monday to help the Wahconah baseball team beat Monument Mountain, 9-6.
 
Ethan Forfa doubled in a run at the plate and allowed three earned runs in six innings of work on the mound to earn the win.
 
Pat Butler hit a triple and drove in two runs, and Will Genaway went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs.
 
Joe Aberdale went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Graham Herrick went 2-for-3 for the Spartans.
 
Wahconah (9-3) takes a five-game winning streak into Friday’s home game against Taconic.
