Monument Mountain Wins at Mount Greylock
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Owen Odermatt went 3-for-3 Friday to lead the Monument Mountain baseball team to an 8-5 win over Mount Greylock.
Liam Smith was 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs, and Gus Luf was 2-for-3 in a 10-hit attack for the Spartans.
Three different Monument Mountain pitchers combined to hold Mount Greylock to five hits.
The Mounties got doubles from Eli Kristensen and Mason Canata, and Jake Newberry went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the loss.
Mount Greylock (5-9) visits South Hadley on Tuesday.
Monument Mountain (9-3) hosts Ware on Monday.
