Matthews Leads Pittsfield Past Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Quinlan Matthews went 3-for 3 with three runs batted in Thursday to lead the Pittsfield High baseball team to a 12-4 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Austin Houghtaling went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Shane Tierney went 2-for-4 for the Generals (8-6), who got six innings from Christopher Tracey, who struck out for before Scott O’Brien finished things up.
 
Hunter Abriel went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs for Mount Greylock (9-6), which goes to Hoosac Valley on Friday.
 
The Generals take on Drury at Joe Wolfe Field on Saturday morning.
