Lenox Stops Monument Mountain in Five
LENOX, Mass. – Bryce Hoff went 4-for-4 with a triple and a double Wednesday to lead the Lenox baseball team to a 13-3 win over Monument Mountain.
Hoff drove in a pair of runs and scored twice for the Millionaires, who ended the game after five innings with two runs in the bottom of the fifth.
David Kirchner went 2-for-3 with a double, and Mason Daley doubled and drove in a run. Robbie Bazinet went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in a 13-hit Millionaire attack.
Seamus Cooney earned the win on the mound with four innings of work. Kirchner pitched a scoreless fifth, striking out the side after giving up a leadoff walk.
Dominic Calautti homered for Monument Mountain, which got a 3-for-3 day at the plate from Gus Luff.
The Spartans (0-6) go to Wahconah on Saturday afternoon.
Lenox (3-4) takes a two-game winning streak into Saturday morning’s game at Taconic.
