Hampshire Baseball Rallies Past Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – The Hampshire Regional baseball team Tuesday scored five runs in the fifth inning to erase a two-run deficit and went on to an 8-4 win over Monument Mountain.
 
Gus Luff went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double for the Spartans.
 
Liam Smith had a single and a pair of RBIs in a seven-hit attack.
 
Mason Bailey, Kyle McMahon and Caeden Thayer split time on the mound for Monument Mountain. Bailey struck out five in four innings of work.
 
The Spartans (0-5) go to Lenox on Thursday.
