PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Matthew Egan struck out seven and allowed just two hits in a complete-game, six-inning, 10-0 win for the Pittsfield baseball team on Monday.
 
“Egan had a dominant outing today pitching through the elements,” Pittsfield coach Drew Pearce said. “He never wavered and was in complete control.”
 
David Wildgoose led Pittsfield offensively, going 3-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs.
 
Morrie Fried was 2-for-3 with a double and a run batted in. Egan helped his cause with a single and a pair of RBIs.
 
Pittsfield (8-2) hosts Westfield on Wednesday.
