WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team Wednesday advanced to the Western Massachusetts Class C Championship Game with a win over Smith Vocational.

The game went into the books as a 7-0 forfeit win for the Mounties due to injuries and absences that left the Vikings shorthanded.

In what amounted to a scrimmage, Dow Young, Tanner Haig-Tayler, Brice Olney, Reed Olney, Luke Irwin and Henry Easton each scored multiple goals for Mount Greylock.

The top-seeded Mounties (15-1) advance to face Hoosac Valley on Friday at 6 p.m. at Berkshire Community College.
