DALTON, Mass. -- Kate Turowski scored three goals, and the East Longmeadow girls lacrosse team outscored Wahconah, 6-4, in the second half en route to an 8-7 win on Saturday evening.

"Tonight was a fantastic game," Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. "It felt like a tournament game. Both teams left it all on the field and I couldn't have asked for more from the girls. Our defense held strong, and Katie [Bachli] had a fantastic game in goal."

Bachli made 15 saves in the loss.

Emmy Cote led Wahconah with four goals. Olivia Hines, Jordan Budaj and McKenna McIlquham each cored once.

Wahconah (5-2) goes to Mount Greylock on Monday evening.
