Hurricane Girls Edge Pittsfield in OT
CHESHIRE, Mass. — Reagan Shea and Peyton Choquette Wednesday each had a hat trick to lead the Hoosac Valley girls lacrosse team to an 11-10, double overtime win over Pittsfield.
Ella Kroboth scored a game-high five goals, and Lily Ferris scored four times for the Generals.
“I could not be more proud of this team,” Pittsfield coach Molly West said. “We came out flat and were not effective defensively in the first half, giving up transition goals we haven’t given up in a while.
“We powered back in the second half through tough draw work. We were behind by five a one point and came back to tie it.”
LaNiyah Gregory made 10 saves for Pittsfield.
Cami Lovato stopped 12 shots to earn the win for Hoosac Valley.
