Mount Everett Softball Falls to Housatonic Valley

FALLS VILLAGE, Conn. – Madeline Mechare hit a home run and a double Tuesday to lead the Housatonic Valley softball team to a 20-5 win over Mount Everett.

 

Housatonic Valley pounded out 15 hits, including seven extra-base hits, in the five-inning win.

 

Hailey Warren went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI to lead Mount Everett, which led, 3-0, midway through the second inning.

 

The Eagles (2-14) go to Westfield Tech on Wednesday.
