Turners Tops Taconic in Softball

MONTAGUE, Mass. – Janelle Massey homered twice and drove in five runs Tuesday to lead the Turners Falls softball team to a 10-5 win over Taconic.

 

Madi Liimatainen struck out 12 and walked three to earn the complete-game win in the circle.

 

Nina Maloney went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead Taconic, which got a 2-for-4 day at the plate from Toni Ahoussie.

 

Madi Barber and Cheyann Goddard split time in the circle for the Thunder, striking out three.

 

Taconic (8-8) goes to Agawam on Wednesday.
