Agawam Softball Downs Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Payton Malanson went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBIs Monday to lead the Agawam softball team to a 9-5 win over Taconic.

 

The Thunder got a pair of doubles in a 4-for-4 effort from Toni Ahoussie but could not overcome a five-run top of the fourth that gave the visitors a 9-4 lead.

 

Kylie Duhamel went 3-for-4 with a double in the loss.

 

Madison Barber and Abby Bliss split time in the circle for the Thunder.

 

Taconic finishes the regular season 4-14 and awaits this weekend’s release of the seedings for the Western Massachusetts Class B Tournament.
