Marauszwski Homers to Lead Wahconah Softball to Win

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Morgan Marauszwski went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and four RBIs to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 6-1 win at Mount Everett on Monday.
 
Marauszwski’s homer in the fifth erased a 1-0 Mount Everett lead.
 
Emma Parkington chipped in with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Abby Wells in the circle scattered five hits while striking out five.
 
Faith Angell had eight strikeouts for Mount Everett, which got an RBI double from Tori Edwards and a 1-for-3 day at the plate from Devan Galli.
 
The Eagles (5-4) go to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
 
Wahconah (3-3) hosts Drury on Tuesday evening.
