McCann Tech Finishes Regular Season With Win Over Mounties

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Gabby Driscoll went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and six RBIs Tuesday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 16-11 win over Mount Greylock.

 

Aiden Champney, Avery Lane and Nora Kondel each had a pair of hits in a 10-hit attack for the Hornets.

 

Emma LeMire and Lane split time in the circle, striking out six.

 

Mount Greylock’s Audrianna Pelkey and Kaleigh Jaros each homered.

 

Lydia Gaudreau went 3-for-3 with three runs batted in. Kyleigh Cooper tripled, and Bayleigh Tatro doubled in the loss.

 

Mount Greylock (5-10) is at Turners Falls on Thursday.

 

McCann Tech finishes the regular season 14-1 with stops in the Western Massachusetts Tournament, State Vocational Tournament and Division 5 State Tournament on its post-season dance card.
