GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Elee Hull singled to drive in Bella Viola and Avery Raifstanger in the bottom of the seventh Wednesday as the Monument Mountain softball team scored four times to come from behind for a 13-11 walkoff win over Lenox.

The winning rally started with a leadoff single from pinch-hitter Kaitlyn Fennelly and included base hits from Viola and Raifstanger.

The Spartans collected 12 hits on the day, including three apiece from Raifstanger, Viola and Alex Tenney, who homered.

“It was a battle between teams for the duration of the game,” Monument Mountain coach Jamie Downer said. “Lenox hit extremely well and challenged Monument’s defense. Monument’s aggressive base running helped them throughout the game and a few big hits in the late innings got the win.”

Megan Dupont earned the win in the circle for the Spartans.

Amaya Alger struck out three for the Millionaires, who got three hits apiece from Bailey Rogers and Hailey Ano and a home run from Aliza Munch.

Lenox (0-5) goes to St. Mary’s on April 21.

Monument Mountain (2-2) is scheduled to go to Westfield Tech on Thursday.
