SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Michael Downer scored 20 points, and Jett Steinman scored five of his 10 points in the fourth quarter Monday to lead the Lenox boys basketball team to a 63-60 win over Mount Everett.

Shane Steinman scored 11 points, and Michael Abdalla added nine for the Millionaires (3-13).

The Eagles (8-9) trailed by 10 at half-time but battled back to within a point thanks partly to a pair of 3s by Jimi Gullota in a 17-8 third-quarter.

But Steinman hit a triple and a pair at the line in the fourth to help hold the fort for Lenox.

Cavan Brady scored 14, and Cassius Conaway and Patrick Silk added 12 and 11, respectively, for Mount Everett.

Mount Everett looks to bounce back on Wednesday at McCann Tech. Lenox hosts Monument Mountain on Thursday.
