Second Quarter Sinks Wahconah Boys on Road

WILBRAHAM, Mass. – Nick Disa scored 10 points, and the Minnechaugh boys basketball team used a big second quarter to earn a 50-41 win over Wahconah on Wednesday night.

 

Disa scored six points in that second quarter, when Chaug outscored Wahconah, 19-4, to take a 22-9 lead into half-time.

 

Patrick McLaughlin scored a game-high 22 points in the loss. Sam McLaughlin chipped in with nine points.

 

Wahconah (0-2) goes to Springfield Commerce on Friday.
