Generals Win at Monument Mountain
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Braiden Sullivan Friday scored 29 points to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to a 76-56 win over Monument Mountain.
Sullivan hit five of his six 3-pointers and scored 19 points in the second quarter, when the Generals outscored the Spartans by a margin of 29-12 to take a 46-34 lead into the locker room.
“PHS made 10 3's in the second quarter – lit up the nets and never looked back,” Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said.
Briawn Thompson scored 22 points, and Quincy Abellie added 13 in the win.
Dom Calautti scored 27 points to lead Monument Mountain, which got 14 from Finn Mason.
The Spartans (0-2) hosts Lee on Tuesday.
Pittsfield (2-0) hosts Wahconah on Monday.
