Bond, Blue Devils Down Spartans

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Jorge Bond scored 35 points Friday to lead the Drury boys basketball team to a 69-55 win over Monument Mountain.

 

“We just didn’t have an answer for Jorge,” Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said. “Plain and simple.”

 

Sam Bullett backed up Bond with 10 points, and Shane Faucher added nine in the win.

 

The Spartans were led by Fin Wheeler with 19 points. Finn Mason added 15 in the loss.

 

The Spartans (2-3) are at Taconic on Monday.

 

Drury (6-1) hosts Wahconah on Monday.
