Patella Powers Lenox Boys Past Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Bailey Patella scored eight of his game-high 31 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Lenox boys basketball team to a 70-67 win over Pittsfield on Monday night.
 
Patella went six-for-six at the foul line in a fourth quarter that saw the Millionaires (5-2) score eight of their 17 points at the stripe and hold off a comeback bid by the Generals, who trailed by 10 (40-30) at half-time.
 
Evan Lanoue scored 22 points, including a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter.
 
For Pittsfield, Chad Shade led the way with 20, including 12 in the fourth quarter.
 
Gerry McDonough and Anthony Jones each finished in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
 
Lenox takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday's game at Wahconah.
 
Pittsfield will look to bounce back against Mount Greylock on Wednesday night.
