Garvey, Aitken Lead Pittsfield Girls at Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Alexis Garvey scored 17 points to lead four Generals in double Figures Wednesday as the Pittsfield girls basketball team defeated Mount Everett, 66-54.
 
Garvey started strong with eight points in the first quarter to help Pittsfield take a  28-13 lead into the second.
 
Mount Everett, behind 21 from Gwen Carpenter, got all the way back to within five at 48-43 after three quarters, but Bella Aitken scored six of her 15 points in the fourth quarter to help put the game away.
 
Jordyn Lummus scored 12, and Taea Bramer added 11 for Pittsfield.
 
Marion Devoti and Tori Seward each had 11 for the Eagles (3-2), who go to Monument Mountain on Friday.
 
Pittsfield (3-2) hosts Mount Greylock on Friday.
