Great Barrington – The Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF) and the Triplex Cinema continue their monthly screenings on Sunday, June 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the Triplex with the film, “Sputnik Mania” written and directed by multi-award winning filmmaker David Hoffman. The film is free and open to the public.Fifty years ago, at the height of the Cold War, the USSR launched Sputnik, the first satellite to orbit the earth, bringing America to its knees in awe - then fear.
