North Adams Schools To Conduct Kindergarten Registration

Children must be 5 on or before August 31. Parents need to call the LINCS center at 413-664-7512 to make an appointment time to register. Bring the child’s immunization records, physical examination and birth certificate along with you and your child. If your child currently attends Brayton preschool, you will not need to bring a birth certificate as there currently is a copy on file.
Preschool screening and registration will take place on May 3 and 4 at Brayton Elementary School, located at 20 Barbour St. Children who will be 4 on or before August 31 will be considered on a space-available basis and are encouraged to apply. If you have a three-year-old child with a suspected disability call the Office of Pupil Services at 413-662-3232, ext. 10, for an appointment.
Families are asked to bring their child to the preschool screenings according to their last name:
► May 3, A - E, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
F - L, 11:45 a.m. - 2 p.m.
► May 4, M - P, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
R - Z 11:45 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Bring your child's birth certificate, immunization record signed by a physcian, physical examination form and proof of residency, such as a household bill. Additional forms that need to be completed for the screening will be mailed to parents on April 23. If you do not receive the forms, call 413-662-3232, ext. 10, and request that they be mailed to you.
