Student Artwork on Display at Southwestern Vermont Health Care
BENNINGTON, Vt. — Students of the Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union are exhibiting the art they created during the school year at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
The exhibit will remain on display through June 8. The Corridor Gallery is open to the public during hospital hours. A reception for the young artists and their families is scheduled for Friday, May 6.
The SVHC Auxiliary changes the artwork in the Corridor Gallery every two months. Exhibits feature the work of local artists, artisans, and students. The work is often for sale. Proceeds benefit the artists and the SVHC Auxiliary, which has given more than $1 million to SVHC over the past 20 years.
In addition to the Corridor Gallery, the SVHC Auxiliary manages the hospital gift shop, Personal Emergency Response System operations, and independent vendor sales.
