Great Barrington Sets Winter Overnight Parking Ban

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The overnight parking ban will go into effect Nov. 15.
The town's winter parking ban will be in place from Nov. 15 to March 30, 2021.
The parking ban prohibits on-street parking between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. in winter months.
Any vehicles parked on town streets during these hours is subject to ticketing or towing, particularly during a winter storm.
Overnight parking is permitted in several downtown parking lots, including the Town Hall lot, Railroad Street's upper lot, the Castle Street lot and at the Mason Library. Signs will be installed in these areas indicating that overnight parking is allowed.

Great Barrington Police To Host Conversation With Asian Community

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Police Department will invite the local Asian Community to two virtual conversations to both educate the the department and enrich relationships with community members.
The conversation are scheduled for Wednesday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday, April 28th at 4:00 p.m.
