Dewey Hall Summer Photography Walk

Print Story | Email Story
SHEFFIELD, Mass. — On Saturday Aug. 21 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. join local professional photographer Thad Kubis and walk the town while learning to compose and design images of some of our town's landmarks and buildings.

The outdoor event starts at Dewey Hall. Participants will move from Depot Square, the railroad tracks, Sheffield Green, Bushnell Sage Library, and Center cemetery (off Berkshire School Road).

Bring whichever camera system you are most comfortable with; smartphone, tablets, DSLR's or film based systems. Kubis will be available to help you understand your system and expand your creative eye.

After the creative walk through town participants can hop into out cars and drive a mile south and spend some time photographing the Sheffield Covered bridge.

There is limited space and pre-registration is required.

The suggested donation of $25 is payable by PayPal (deweymemorialhall@gmail.com), Venmo (@MagsMcRae), check (Dewey Memorial Hall), or cash. All Proceeds benefit Dewey Hall.

Payments can be submitted prior to Aug. 21 or the day of the event.
