SVMC Welcomes Patrice Thornton

BENNINGTON, Vt. Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) welocmed Patrice Thornton, MD, to SVMC Northshire Campus and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians.
 
Dr. Thornton completed her residency and internship at New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center. She received her medical degree at New York Medical College and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She received her bachelor's in biology from New York University. She is board certified in internal medicine.
 
Dr. Thornton has worked as a primary care internist with Nuvance Health/Western Connecticut Medical Group. She worked for more than 20 years as a primary care internist at Village Medical in Pawling, New York. She has also served as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at New York University.
 
SVMC's Northshire Campus offers comprehensive medical care for the whole family. Its services include pediatrics, health promotion and wellness programs, and on-site physical therapy, laboratory, and x-ray services for those with a provider's order. The office is located at 5957 Main Street in Manchester Center. Appointments are available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. Dr. Thornton is accepting new patients.
