Future Teacher Signing Day at Wahconah Regional High School

DALTON, Mass. — Central Berkshire Regional School District will be hosting a Future Teacher Signing Day ceremony to celebrate Massachusetts' next generation of educators. 
 
Some students from Wahconah Regional High School's Class of 2023 who intend to pursue a career in education will be recognized at 1:30 P.M. on May 26 in the Wahconah Auditorium. 
 
The ceremony will emphasize educators' importance and the impact they can have on children's lives.
 
Each of our future educators will sign a letter of intent acknowledging the commitment they are making to the field of education and their communities. School officials will be on hand to profile each student and celebrate their decision to pursue a career in education. 
 
The following students will be honored this year: Amber Brown, Emma Blazick, Abby Cobb, Holden Kotelnicki, and Emily O'Neill.

2nd Annual Berkshire Small Business Resource Expo

DALTON, Mass. — The regional partnership of 1Berkshire, Berkshire Immigrant Center, Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC), DEI Outdoors, EforAll Berkshire County, Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and Pittsfield Economic Revitalization Corporation (PERC) announced the 2nd Annual Berkshire Small Business Resource Expo happening on Friday, June 30, from 8am-1pm at the Stationery Factory in Dalton.
 
With underwriting sponsorship support from Lee Bank, this free event brings together over 25 resource providers, several focused informational panels, and networking opportunities to support the breadth of small businesses in the Berkshires. 
 
All resource providers will have at least a summary of their resources available on-site in Spanish, and simultaneous in-ear Spanish interpretation will be available during all three panel workshops.
 
Benjamin Lamb, 1Berkshire Vice President of Economic Development, said: "We are excited to continue to evolve these programs and adopt improved practices to help support the growing and increasingly-diverse entrepreneurs,  business owners, and business operators we are lucky to have here in the Berkshires."
