Registration Open for Upcoming Lenox Vaccine Clinics

LENOX, Mass. — The Southern Berkshire Public Health Collaborative is pleased that registration is open a series of mobile clinics covering their 12-towns in South County this fall, including two in Lenox. 

These clinics will provide updated COVID vaccines (for ages 6 months or older), as well as regular-dose flu (for ages 6 months or older) and high-dose flu (for ages 65 and older). 

For a full list of all these clinics, go to the 2024 SBPHC Vaccine Clinic Schedule. Note that several clinics in Lenox have been consolidated to just the two this year.
 
Registration is required for and can be done using one of two methods:
 
Go to https://home.color.com/vaccine/register/tritown and pick your desired clinic (a full list of all these clinics is attached or can be found at 2024 SBPHC Vaccine Clinic Schedule);
 
Go directly to one of the Lenox clinics by clicking the hyperlinks below:
 
Tues, Oct. 8 from 3 - 6pm in the Lenox Middle/High School; and
Weds, Oct. 30  from 1:30 – 3:30pm in the St. Ann's Catholic Parish.
 
There will also be a clinic on Sat, Sept. 28 from 10am – 1pm at W.E.B. Dubois Middle School in Great Barrington.
 
Insurance: Although the flu and COVID vaccinations are provided at no cost, we ask that you have your insurance card with you at the time of registration as well as the day of the clinic. If you have a hard time entering your insurance information, you may select "No Insurance" as long as you bring that information to you to the clinic.

Ventfort Hall Presents: A Cozy Evening For Children

LENOX, Mass. — On Dec. 15, Ventfort Hall will host a Children's Evening Story Hour the story hour will feature books: "The Hat" by Jan Brett, "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats, and "Katy and the Big Snow" by Virginia Lee Burton.

The event, that starts at 5:30 p.m., features classic winter stories, hot cocoa, snacks, and activities. 

Attendees are encouraged to wear pajamas and bring blankets to the mansion library. Allergy-friendly food options are welcome if brought from home.

On Dec. 29, the story hour will feature these books: "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats, "The Mitten," by Jan Brett, "Polar Express," by Chris Van Allsburg, and "The Tomten," by Astrid Lingren

Ventfort Hall intern, Sarah Briggs, organized the event. Briggs is a local to Berkshire County and currently a senior at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, interning at Ventfort Hall this semester. She is an Arts Management major and Art History minor, pursuing a career in museum programming and education.

Ventfort Hall is decorated for the holidays. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows. The historical mansion is located at 104 Walker Street in Lenox.
