DALTON, Mass. — The Dalton American Legion Post 155 hosts the 9th annual Eric Jacobsson Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Bas Ridge Golf Course in Hinsdale.
The post is inviting golfers, local businesses, and community members to come together for a day of golf, camaraderie, and giving back at what has become a community tradition, bringing together veterans, families, businesses, and supporters to raise funds for programs that make a meaningful impact to the veteran community and Benjamin F. Sullivan Post 155.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The event includes awards and lunch afterward at the Dalton American Legion.
Tournament proceeds support the Dalton American Legion's mission of serving veterans and the local community.
The generosity of our players, sponsors, and volunteers makes it possible for us to continue serving those who have served our country while also strengthening our local community, say tournament organizers. Every golfer and every sponsor helps make a difference.
The tournament welcomes golfers of all skill levels. Registration is $150 per player or $600 per foursome, which includes dinner. Businesses and individuals are also encouraged to support the event through $100 T-shirt sponsorships, raffle prize donations, or financial contributions.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Community businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate through tee sponsorships, raffle prize donations, or financial contributions. Every sponsorship helps fund programs that directly benefit local veterans and community initiatives.
