Carpenter Leads Short-Handed Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Brady Carpenter scored 23 points Friday to lead the Mount Everett boys basketball team to a 63-37 win over Hampden Charter.
 
Carpenter scored eight points in the first quarter to help the Eagles grab a 23-11 lead and added seven in the second to help Mount Everett take a 38-18 lead into the locker room.
 
Sean Warren scored 14 points, and Darius Taliaferro added eight in the win. The Eagles were without 1,000-point scorer Michael Ullrich.
 
Mount Everett (6-2) hosts Pathfinder on Tuesday.
