YOGA WITH RIMA SALA
Becket, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

All-levels yoga class held every Thursday at the Becket Arts Center. Participants will move through a series of poses to build heat, increase flexibility, and improve balance. Modifications will be offered to ensure everyone feels comfortable and challenged.  

Cost is $5 to $10 for members, $15 for guests. Register and pay in person.

ARBOR DAY - A FORESTER’S WALK, THROUGH THE EYES OF A FORESTER
Lanesborough, 11 am to 1 pm
For ages 8 and up. Celebrate Arbor Day by exploring the forest through a professional forester’s eyes. Join DCR Management Forester, Kevin Podkowka as he shares his personal insights into the secret life of trees. This workshop includes a short trail walk, suitable for families able to walk an easy-moderate one to three miles. Space is limited. Registration required. Dress in layers for variable weather. OPENING RECEPTION 'VULNERABLE EARTH'
Connecticut, 4 to 6 p.m.
"Vulnerable Earth" at the opening reception at the Tremaine Gallery, The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn. Curated by Greg Lock, the exhibition brings together video, photographic, and digital media by artists who have participated in the Arctic Circle, reflecting on the rapidly changing Arctic landscape and the broader ecological questions surrounding climate change.    Open to the public and on view from April 21 to June 14. HOFFMANN BIRD CLUB: ANNUAL BANQUET – WITH SPECIAL GUEST DREW VITZ
Pittsfield, 6:00pm -9:00pm

State Ornithologist Drew Vitz will present on traditional and contemporary bird conservation efforts, including the use of GPS data loggers and the Motus tracking system to study species like the Wood Thrush and American Kestrel. Held at The Proprietor’s Lodge on Pontoosuc Lake, the evening includes a cocktail hour followed by dinner and the formal keynote presentation. CLARK ART - CITIES AS BATTLEGROUNDS: HOW URBAN WARFARE SHAPES HISTORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY

LEARN TO MEDITATE: TAME THE WILD HORSE OF YOUR MIND

Designed for those new to the world of birds, this workshop covers essential identification tools and strategies before heading out for a guided 1.7-mile loop on the Greylock Glen gravel paths. Participants should bring sturdy shoes and water, though loaner binoculars are available for those who need them.
