Linda Neuhaus Nagy

Linda Neuhaus Nagy, 40, of Monterey Road, Great Barrington, died Thursday morning, January 18, 2001 at her home. A native and life long resident of Great Barrington, she was born August 8, 1960, the daughter of Werner Neuhaus and Ruth Albers Neuhaus. Linda attended local schools and graduated from Monument Mountain High School with the class of 1978. Linda went on to work as a secretary at the former Pines Nursing Home, now Timberlyn Heights Nursing Home, and as a receptionist at the former Berkshire Chalet, now the Berkshire Motor Inn. And up until four years ago she was self employed and worked part time cleaning houses, which allowed her to spend more time with her family going for nature walks and fishing. Linda was also a member of the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington and sang in the choir there. Mrs. Nagy is survived by her husband, whom she married in 1984 at the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington, Sandor â€œSandyâ€ Nagy and her two children: Jamie and Justin, both living at home. Her mother Ruth Neuhaus of Jamesville, New York Her father Werner Neuhaus of Great Barrington a brother Thomas Neuhaus of Jamesville, New York a sister Heidi Leon of Kissimmee, Florida and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Nagy will be held Monday, January 22, 200l at eleven a.m. at the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Charles Van Ausdall, pastor of the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 21, 200l from two p.m. until five p.m. at the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
