ADAMS, Mass. — Derek Clark, age 32, formerly of Adams, MA passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. He was born on March 3, 1989 to Eileen (Dempsey) Clark and Ronald Clark of Adams. Derek attended Hoosac Valley High School and most recently worked for Hamilton Relay in Pittsfield, MA. Derek enjoyed fishing in his spare time and was a cigar connoisseur. On Sundays, he could be found hanging out at his father's house with his family and his favorite cat, Leia. He appreciated the simple things in life and would always be seen with a warm smile. Derek leaves behind two beautiful children whom he loved dearly. Braydin Clark, 11, and his mother Brittany Blaisdell, and Gabriella Clark, 4, and her mother Samantha Rodriguez, all of Adams. He is also survived by his parents, Ronald and Eileen Clark, his sister Kara Clark (Chris Coons), a maternal grandmother Helen Dempsey and a step-grandfather, Sydney Ayres, an aunt Carrie Alibozek (Douglas), his uncle David Clark (Stefanie), his uncle John Dempsey (Deborah) and a close family friend, Sandy Overlock. Derek is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Lila Clark, and his maternal grandfather, John Dempsey. Calling hours at the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, will be held on Saturday, March 20th, from 11 AM until 1 PM. Due to current regulations, use of face masks and social distancing will be strictly enforced. Due to current state gathering restrictions, only a limited number of visitors will be allowed in the funeral at any one time, so admittance to the funeral home may take longer than usual; we ask for your patience. Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Derek Clark Educational Fund, for the benefit of Derek’s children, through the funeral home.
