Clifford Bourdon, 88
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Clifford James Bourdon, 88, of 426 East Main St. died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Albany (N.Y.) Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 25, 1913, son of Henry E. and Eleanor Disco Bourdon, he moved to North Adams as a child and attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Bourdon was employed as a bricklayer by several area construction companies for many years, retiring in 1975.
He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and a member of the North Adams Retired Men's Club. He enjoyed bowling.
He leaves a brother, Jerome F. Bourdon, with whom he made his home.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Norman, Raymond and Richard Bourdon, and a sister, Elaine Fortin.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral will be Monday at 8:15 from AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, North Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 in Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his memory be made to the Notre Dame Church Renovation Fund, through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
