CLARKSBURG, Mass. —  Rosemarie (Sacco) Brierley, 84 of Clarksburg, MA died Saturday February 15, 2025 at North Adams Commons.

She was born in North Adams, MA on May 13, 1940, a daughter of Nicholas Sacco and Marie Jane (LaCombe) Sacco. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Peter P. Sacco. She graduated from Drury High School.

Rosemarie was first employed by the former Sprague Electric Co for several years until she started her family. After her children were grown, she worked at the former Roberts Company and was last employed at the pharmacy in the Stop & Shop Supermarket until her retirement.

She was the widow of Gordon William Brierley who died on November 24, 2017. They were married on August 20, 1960. Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Brierley of North Adams, MA and Jill (Joel) Oguschewitz of East Hampton, CT and one son, Shawn (Mary) Brierley of North Adams, MA. She also leaves five grandchildren, Jamie (Colin) Downey of Hancock, MA, Carly (Eric) Butts of West Greenwich, RI, Julia Brierley of North Adams, Evan Brierley of Gaithersburg, MD and Neal Brierley of North Adams; two great grandchildren, Nora Downey and Reylin Downey and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Brooks.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Rosemarie Brierley will be Saturday February 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
