Madeline R. Paciorek, 83

ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Madeline Rose (Tassone) Paciorek, 83, of Adams, died Saturday morning, May 10, 2025 at her home. She was born in North Adams on July 18, 1941, a daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Morocco) Tassone.
She attended North Adams schools, graduating from Drury High School with the Class of 1960. She then began her training as a hairdresser, attending Wilfred Beauty Academy and Charles of the Ritz School of Hair Design, both in New York City, and completed her training at LeBarron Beauty Academy in Pittsfield in 1962. While studying she received several first-place awards for her student hair styles. She then went to work at the former Richard’s Beauty Shoppe and Janet’s Rendezvous Beauty Salon, both in North Adams. After taking some time off to start her family, she went to work in the customer service office at Waverly Fabrics in Adams in 1974, remaining there until the company closed in Adams in 1991. She then worked briefly at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance in North Adams until finally retiring. She was a communicant of the Parish of St. John Paul II at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams.
Her husband, Stanley F. Paciorek, died on August 14, 2018. She is survived by her three children, John S. Paciorek of Adams, Christina M. Paciorek of West Springfield and Carla M. Thomas of Adams; two grandchildren, Monica and Dylan; her sister, Viola M. Tassone of North Adams, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Richards, her brother, Vincent A. Tassone, Jr. and another brother who died in infancy.
The funeral procession will begin on Thursday, May 15th at 10:00 AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
