Irene was a wonderful friend to the Kowalski family. She was always there for the children of Len and Julia Kowalski in bad times and in good times. Irene always showed her smile and gave us all hugs when it was needed and always offered help the our family. We will always be grateful. We will love and cherish your life in our hearts and prayers forever.

Aunt Irene helped others feel at ease. This is a great gift for a person to have, and an even greater gift to those of us to whom Irene spread ease.

Irene’s humor could be lightning quick, or playfully slow. As long as I knew her, Irene had a twinkle in her eye and a kind of all-American (and Polish) goodness and faithfulness. Irene looked the part of a country club champion for sure – one with a keen mind.

Irene, thank you for being you. Joe and Chris, our thoughts are with you. Your mom is proud of you. Always.

God bless, Paul & Sandy Piwko
