LANESBOROUGH, Mass. —  Bonnie Mary McCabe, 68 of Lanesborough, MA passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday October 17, 2025.

She was born in Pittsfield, MA on March 12, 1957, a daughter of Thomas John McCabe and Ada Maria (Casucci) McCabe. She graduated from the former St. Joseph’s Central High School and Berkshire Community College. Bonnie went on to receive her Pharmacology Degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

Bonnie worked as a pharmacist at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield for 40 years until her retirement in 2024. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. She also enjoyed photography, skiing and travel.

Survivors include her sister, Susan L. McCabe of Pittsfield, MA and her brother Kevin L. (Nancy) McCabe of Delray Beach, FL. She also leaves 5 nieces and nephews including Christopher McCabe, Terry McCabe, Brian McCabe, Casey McCabe and Robyn McCabe. She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael M. McCabe and Louis McCabe and his wife, Carol.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Bonnie McCabe will be Friday October 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Friday October 24 from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM.
